In some countries, such as the United Kingdom, new legislation is being introduced to help meet targets on greenhouse gas emissions. In the UK there is the recently introduced Climate Change Levy which requires detailed analysis and reporting to allow the justification of energy consumption.

In anticipation of this, Adaptive have developed a range of monitoring systems for boiler-house, water, gas, and electric usage and are able to offer these detailed analyses and reports on the energy consumption of the plant.

A standard PC is used to retrieve information from the monitoring system, using the Adaptive ePlant concept to bring information straight to the desks of plant engineers and decision-makers.
